The turkey dies to show our thanks
everyone eats throughout the ranks

What is Thanksgiving and who is Santa,
the Easter Bunny or Uncle Sam?
My childhood means nothing to them
Will they give thanks this special day?

Thank you God for the food we are about
to keep. Make us strong and safe may my
children never be smiling with dirty feet and
always have something fine to eat

Brothers and sisters searching for food
Truck loads of cans coming from Georgia
delivered to the nuns at the orphanage
Is there anything else you need today Sister?
